Ingredients

- 4 oz orange juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 1/2 oz tequila
- 1 oz Orange liqueur
- 1/2 scoop (about 2 Tablespoons) vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 scoop ice
- fresh orange slice, for garnish
- granulated sugar, for coating the rim (optional)
Instructions
To make it neat:
- In a cocktail shaker, place the orange juice, tequila, orange liqueur and vanilla ice cream.
- Shake vigorously until the ice cream has combined and you’re left with a creamy, frothy consistency.
- (Optional) Run the orange slice along the rim of a margarita or stemless wine glass and dip into granulated sugar on a shallow plate.
- Add the ice to the cocktail shaker and shake a few more times, then strain into the glass.
- Garnish with the orange slice and enjoy.
To make it frozen:
- In a blender, place the orange juice, tequila, orange liqueur, vanilla ice cream and ice.
- Blend until smooth.
- (Optional) Run the orange slice along the rim of a margarita or stemless wine glass and dip into granulated sugar on a shallow plate.
- Pour the blended mixture in the glass and garnish with the orange slice. Enjoy!
